Okie, enough of the ranting... it's not really going to do anyone (esp me!) any good complaining about it... So... now that I have enough energy and time... here's another Graphic 45 "A Ladies' Diary" project I'd like to share... It's a 6"x6" mini page swap hosted by Krystal (who also hosted the tag swap) over at the Scrap Beach...
This is the first side. The part showing in the picture is actually the flap that opens up to two pockets inside. On top of the flap is a working picture frame for a 3" x 4" picture. There's a spray of flowers on the bottom left hand corner, and to balance that out, there's a little charm thing I made on the top right hand corner. One of the requirements for swap was that we were supposed to make something handmade out of the paper collection... so I decided to make the little paper beads dangling from the picture charm.
Here's what the inside of the flap looks like... There's pockets on both the inside of the flap and on the main page itself. On the left side, that tag is actually a little swivel mini book...
The second page is a lot simpler...
It's a gatefold type of page with a magnetic closure. I just decorated a couple of the corners with some I Am Roses flowers and some bead sprays. Nothing too elaborate...
The inside is also pretty simple... There's pockets on both sides of the flaps for little tags or journaling notes to be tucked into. I was going to put a photo mat on the inside... but then I decided not to so that the ladies who receive the pages could use the space for a really big photo such as a 6 x 4 or 5 x 3.5... They could also add in an extra pocket if they wanted to... I just really wanted the space to be a bit more versatile to their needs...
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed my project! I did make a video of this, but I'm still deciding if I want to post it now or later when I have the rest of the pages and finish putting the entire album together. But, either way, when I do decide to post up the video, I'll be sure to add it to this post! :D
Thanks for stopping by!
